My question is if an employee who is in probation period, availed all leaves due to accident then goes on extra ordinary leave (without pay leave) sanctioned by department, then whether his probation period extended or not. e.g. if employee is on 3 month without pay leave on medical certificate then his probation will be extended or not? pls reply
any leave upto 6 months is counted in probation and probation period is not extended. For Details please read General and Common Conditions of Service Rules 1994. Copy of the Rules can be downloaded from smspunjab.in

@smspunjab sir, that conditions are not clear. some departments extend probation period some departments do not extend probation period...
@amandeep-singh-2 ਵਿਭਾਗ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਰੂਲਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਵੇਂ Interpret ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਸਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਕੁੱਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ। ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜੇਕਰ 6 ਮਹੀਨੇ ਜਾਂ ਇਸਤੋਂ ਘੱਟ ਦਿਨ ਦੀ ਛੁੱਟੀ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਪਰਖਕਾਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਵਧੇਗਾ।
